Hard Surface Refinishing 

LIMITED WARRANTY

           

Paper Street Refinishing provides a 3‑year limited warranty on professionally refinished bathtubs, wall tile, countertops, shower pans, and spot repairs, covering peeling or adhesion failure of the coating. (Sinks are not included in this warranty.)

This limited warranty applies only to work performed by Paper Street Refinishing and is subject to the conditions listed on your invoice, care sheet, and the following requirements. Failure to follow these guidelines may void the warranty.

 

Warranty Conditions (Must Be Followed to Maintain Coverage)

  1. Surfaces must not remain continuously wet.
    Bathmats, especially those with suction cups, should not be left on the refinished surface. Continuous moisture can damage the coating.

  2. Bathtubs and shower pans must not be used for water storage.
    Standing water for extended periods can weaken the refinished surface.

  3. Damage caused by leaking or dripping plumbing is not covered.

  4. Damage from sharp, falling, or heavy objects is not covered.
    Chips, nicks, or impact damage—intentional or accidental—void the warranty.

  5. Staining from chemicals, rust, or hair dyes is not covered.

  6. Improper care or cleaning voids the warranty.
    Only use products approved in the Care & Cleaning Instructions provided at completion.

  7. Movement in the substructure is not covered.
    Shifting or flexing that causes cracks in the refinished surface or grout lines voids the warranty.

  8. Proper curing time is required.

    • Refinished surfaces must cure at 60–80 degrees for 24–48 hours with no moisture or contact.

    • Countertops and vanities require at least 24 hours before light use.

    • Light use only for 72 hours is recommended.

    • Full hardness develops over 30 days, so follow all care guidelines during this period.

  9. Damage caused by misuse or non‑standard use is not covered.
    Surfaces must be used only as intended by the original manufacturer.

Warranty Resolution

If a failure covered under this warranty occurs, Paper Street Refinishing will, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the affected area,

  2. Refinish the entire surface, or

  3. Refund the original job price.

​

 

Additional Terms

  • Caulk, plumbing issues, recurring rust, and shower doors are not covered.

  • Travel charges may apply.

  • Any warranty terms written on the invoice override other terms.

  • Warranty covers workmanship only.

  • All claims must be submitted in writing and verified by Paper Street Refinishing.

  • Warranty is non‑transferable.
